WhatsApp for iPhone updated with Group audio call feature this means that soon you will be able to make voice calls with your multiple contacts right from WhatsApp. The feature is available on WhatsApp for iOS version 2.18.60 for a limited number of users.
On the other hand, WhatsApp has added a ‘Select All’ option that lets you easily mark all the new messages as read or archive all your chats with a single tap.

WhatsApp for iPhone updated with Group audio call feature means now you can have an group audio chat with multiple group members at the same time. This feature is being tested on iOS devices and may soon be available on Android devices as well.
The feature is available on WhatsApp for iOS version 2.18.60 for a limited number of users. The new change is apparently server-side roll out, so it might take some time for everyone to get this new feature. Whatsapp group video calls with the maximum of 4 persons are already in the pipeline.
As per the report of the WABetaInfo, the new beta version has introduced ‘Select all’ option on the main screen. After tapping the action bar button, the available options could be seen.
WhatsApp now has over 450 million daily users, and over 2 billion minutes of video and audio calls are made through WhatsApp each day. WhatsApp for iOS has reportedly started receiving group audio calls feature. Although WhatsApp has introduced both audio and video calling features to the platform long ago.

As per the report of the WABetaInfo, in the below screenshot, one can see two audio calls merged in one with options visible including the loudspeaker, video call and mute. It has been mentioned that this feature is ‘available for few users only’ and may take some time to reach several others.
It is expected that the new feature will work just like the Skype group calling. Users will be able to add other users during a call. For example, if you are on a call with your friend, you can add another friend to the call simply by pressing the add button and group call including the 3 of you will be created.
How the WhatsApp ‘Select all’ feature on Android acts?
# WhatsApp’s ‘Select all’ feature for Android beta is a part of beta version 2.18.60 or above. Do note it is only available for beta testers.
# To use the feature, long press any chat to select it and then click on three vertical lines on the top right.
# To force the Select all option to appear in the action menu, you need to select at least one chat first, otherwise, the option won’t be available.
# From the menu, choose ‘Select all’ below ‘Add chat shortcut’, ‘View contact’ and ‘Mark as unread’ options.
# WhatsApp users can then choose to mute, delete, pin, Archive, mark as unread/read multiple chats.
Though its yet not been confirmed by the company that the number of participants that will be able to join a single group audio call and for this users will have to wait for an official confirmation to know more.
