WhatsApp on iOS now lets Siri send messages to group chats The iPhone app for WhatsApp has been updated and now allows users to send WhatsApp group messages directly by speaking to Siri.
Initially, WhatsApp rolled out the ability to send individual messages using Siri. To send a group message, just activate Siri and say send the message to WhatsApp group. Siri will confirm the group name from the chat list and then you will have to speak your out message and tell Siri to send it.
But With the latest update, it now lets you use Siri to send messages to your WhatsApp groups as well. The new Siri support comes as part of version 2.18.80 of the app, which measures in at 110.8 MB. You don’t need to access WhatsApp on your Apple device and then type the message for your WhatsApp groups. Instead, you can use your voice to send an important message to one of your groups on the instant messaging app. This comes as an extension to the Siri integration that has been a part for WhatsApp since September 2016.
